Perry began his optician career in 2012. He worked at a local 4-doc optometry practice while attending college at the University of Kansas where he obtained a B.S. in Environmental Studies. He later worked at Brill Eye Center with his father, Dr. Raymond Brill, in his state-of-the-art practice. This is where Perry honed his professional eyecare skillset in practice management and optical for the next 8 years.
In 2019, Perry started Eyetrepreneur Media, a B2B consultancy agency focused on tech, software, marketing, community building, and video content creation. He works with big and small brands in achieving maximum market penetration through clear brand messaging by using what’s called “Dark Social.”
Perry is known for his podcast where he interviews eyecare pioneers in the entrepreneurship space. These podcast guests are under the radar and give inspirational and educational pearls of wisdom. You can find him in his Facebook group most weeknights yapping about eyecare.
David has built and led more remote teams for tech companies, startups, US manufacturers, and more over the past 10+yrs. During this time, he has successfully managed the growth, transformation, and/or acquisition of each venture before taking on the next challenge.
This experience has led him to Co-Found the boutique remote staffing company, unbottleneck™ (unbottleneck.com). As CEO of unbottleneck™, David is building a world class team by prioritizing people over profits. This focus has shaped a highly engaged and collaborative culture, which is the driving force that delivers clients the consistent performance and results they need to grow.
